Accounts Payable & Billing Associate - Unique Omaha Construction Company - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE!

Hemphill is excited to team up with a very successful small/mid-sized Omaha construction company known for its long-standing reputation in the industry. This is a super unique organization - they have been very profitable over the years and have strategically invested in / acquired other businesses and this individual will have a front row seat to be involved in numerous aspects of this very authentic and down to earth organization with a tight-knit feel.

You’ll tackle a range of accounting tasks, from processing invoices and coding them to jobs/projects to handling AIA billing with the sales team - experience in billing is helpful but not required, as they’ll provide training. You’ll also support the company’s real estate investments by creating helpful spreadsheets and tracking rent payments. This organization has historically outsourced their accounting work so this position is new and aspects of the role will likely be curated towards the strengths and interests of the individual who steps in.

• Process invoices and manage accounts payable tasks.
• Coordinate AIA billing with the sales team (unique construction related progress billing process)
• Support real estate accounting, including rent tracking and building helpful spreadsheets.
• Add value in the office - we are searching for someone who naturally sees a void and steps in to fill it.
• Work directly with the owners of this well-known business to add value where needed. We are searching for a “happy to help” mindset as this company has an excellent team who is eager to support one another and jump in where needed.
