Job Description and Duties

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking their next dynamic leader who will assist the General Counsel in the management and operation of the Office of Legal Affair's (OLA) Administrative Support section!

The Associate Director, Administrative Support plays a crucial role in the management of OLA administrative support services which includes budgets, contracts, personnel, procurement, case law management, clerical support to attorneys, service of process, Public Records Act requests, customer service to the public and implementing office policies designed to support the delivery of legal services to the CDCR. This position holds the highest level of authority to directly create or influence policies for these programs.

Working Conditions

The position is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office a minimum of two days per week and as needed/required. Specific telework schedules may be discussed further during the interview process. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
