As an Audio Visual / Event Technician, you would be responsible for preparing and maintaining the hardware/software used at our events and assist in training/managing our Event Managers who will utilize that hardware/software.

Responsibilities of the Role

Here is an outline of what the responsibilities of an Audio Visual / Event Technician are:

Event Manager Training/Support

  • You will spearhead training our Event Managers on new services, insuring they are prepared to manage them at an event.
  • In addition, you will provide remote support during events to assist in any troubleshooting and quality control.

Equipment/Software Preparation and Maintenance

  • Every event has software/hardware that is being utilized to execute our services. Your role will be to ensure that the software has all the correct settings related to the event set and that all the equipment is tested and working. After the equipment returns from the event, you will need to ensure it is still in working order. 

Logistics Management

  • Reviewing logistical needs to ensure everything we need is provided by either the client, vendor partner, or internal team. You will maintain schedules and an inventory so we know where equipment is at all times. 

Onboarding and Managing of Events and Necessary To Dos:

  • Updating event management system to ensure all necessary files and details are accessible to other team members (through notion) 
  • Updating in team meetings on status of events through daily meetings

Internal Team Communication

  • Working with sales and account manager to ensure all requirements are being met for the event scope
