Automotive Technician

Our client is seeking skilled and career-driven Automotive Technicians to join their growing team at a well-established car dealership. Automotive Technician Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle repairs and diagnostics efficiently and accurately according to factory and dealership standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to determine causes of mechanical issues and complete authorized repairs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all services performed.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to identify and secure required components.
  • Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
  • Stay current with technical service bulletins and manufacturer updates.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Report any equipment or tool issues to the service manager.

Automotive Technician Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience; GM, Chevy, or Ford experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities, including work on transmissions, rear axles, and other complex systems.
  • Must supply own tools; tool bonus/allowance provided to support replacements and upgrades.
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50–80 pounds and perform physical tasks required in an active service bay.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and insurability under company policy.
