Overview The Warranty Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing warranty claims and fostering customer satisfaction. This position requires close collaboration with our service department, and the VW manufacturer to process warranty claims swiftly and accurately. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all warranty processes adhere to company policies. Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly review and process warranty claims submitted by service technicians and advisors.
  • Proactively communicate with manufacturers to secure approval for warranty repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain precise records of all warranty claims, including detailed documentation of parts used and labor provided.
  • Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely completion of warranty repairs.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries about warranty coverage and processes in a clear and helpful manner.
  • Analyze warranty data to identify trends and suggest improvements aimed at minimizing future claims.
  • Stay current on manufacturer policies and procedures concerning warranties to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
  • This position requires a minimum of 2 years existing experience in processing automotive warranty claims.
  • VW experience a big plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record management.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Knowledge of automotive or product warranties is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
  • Familiarity with customer service principles and best practices.
This position is vital for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining the efficiency and compliance of warranty processes in accordance with company standards.
