Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Housekeeping to oversee the housekeeping operations across a portfolio of rental properties in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all properties meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effective usage
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and manage housekeeping schedules to ensure timely turnover of properties between guest stays
  • Guest Satisfaction: Address and resolve any housekeeping-related guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally
  • Compliance: Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities and provide regular reports to management

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably within the hospitality or property management industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills and previous experience managing 20+ individuals
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and issues with professionalism and tact
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Compensation:

$70,000 to $90,000 per year annual salary
