Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, entomology, plant physiology or related field.

This is a 6 month assignment with the potential to extend longer
You will primarily provide support for a high-throughput entomology testing platform via application of basic biological concepts and procedures
Responsibilities will include the production of various solutions and artificial diets for insect bioassays, care of plants in a growth chamber and/or greenhouse setting, setup and scoring of insect bioassays and data entry.
You will also be responsible for the usage and upkeep of laboratory equipment along with general lab/CE cleaning.
Key competencies include a basic understanding of the principles of plant and animal life, attention to detail, results orientation, customer focus, teamwork, strong written and verbal communication skills, and problem solving skills.
You should be flexible, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently or as part of a diverse team.
Any experience in agricultural biotechnology or automation/robotics is a plus.
