Calibration Maintenance Technician – Allendale, NJ

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration & Maintenance Technician to support our GMP laboratory operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical or technical background who’s interested in working in a regulated lab environment.

You’ll be responsible for performing routine calibration, verification, and preventative maintenance on lab equipment such as shakers, thermometers, bench-top balances, and other analytical instruments. Full training on GMP procedures and documentation will be provided.

• Key Responsibilities Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment (balances, thermometers, shakers, etc.)
• Conduct equipment inspections, verifications, and performance checks according to established schedules
• Record and maintain calibration data, maintenance logs, and GMP documentation
• Support equipment troubleshooting and coordinate repairs as needed
• Follow all GMP, GLP, and safety procedures in the lab
• Collaborate with lab staff and quality assurance to ensure all equipment remains in compliance
• Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
• 1+ year of experience in a maintenance, calibration, or lab support role preferred (but not required — training provided)
• Basic understanding of lab or production equipment
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices
• Comfortable working in a GMP or regulated environment
