Nexeo HR is seeking a skilled Cherry Picker Operator to join our team in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This position involves operating an order picker forklift to retrieve and stock items in the warehouse or storage facility. Responsibilities
• Operate a cherry picker forklift to retrieve, move, and stock items in high storage racks.
• Inspect and maintain the cherry picker equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Pick orders as per work orders or pick sheets with accuracy and speed.
• Conduct inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
• Load and unload materials manually or using equipment when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to management.
Qualifications
• Experience: Previous experience operating cherry picker forklifts or similar equipment preferred.
• Certification: Forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and work at heights.
• Attention to Detail: Ensures accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Safety Awareness: Understands and follows OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to count and record inventory accurately.
• Team Player: Works well in a collaborative environment.
Pay
$20.00 to $22.00 Per Hour DOE
Schedule
Swing Shift | Start time 5:00 PM | 12-hour rotating schedule
