MAU is hiring a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative for Baker Roofing in Lorton, VA. As a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative, you will develop and manage customer relationships, generate sales, and provide roofing solutions while leveraging CRM tools, industry knowledge, and networking to drive business growth. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

• Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• 1+ year of related sales experience
• 10+ years of commercial flat roofing experience

General Requirements:

• Driver’s license required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; experience with Salesforce and estimating software is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality
• Highly motivated with a professional attitude

Essential Functions:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Communicate consistently with clients, promoting company services and solutions
• Recommend and specify roofing systems that align with customer needs and industry standards
• Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and marketing events to expand market presence
• Generate leads for reroofing projects through cold calling, referrals, account management, and networking
• Use Salesforce CRM daily to manage accounts, schedule appointments, develop proposals, and track sales activities
• Utilize BOX for documenting roof conditions and preparing reroof proposals
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and manufacturer-led seminars to enhance industry knowledge
• Conduct roof condition assessments, including proper core cuts when necessary
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure project success by providing necessary support and information
• Assist with account-related receivables as directed by management

Physical Demands:

• Remove, set up, and climb ladders to access roofs safely for evaluation
• Climb, lift, balance, walk, and handle materials as needed
• Stand for extended periods
• Engage core and lower back muscles for sustained physical activity without fatigue
• Perform tasks requiring close-range visual focus
• Repeatedly bend, twist, kneel, crouch, stoop, or crawl
• Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
