Alexander Hunt Distinct Homes (AHDH) is a small but growing home-building and land development company dedicated to crafting high-quality custom homes and developing exceptional lots for future builds. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager/Superintendent in Las Colinas to oversee the construction of our high-end, custom luxury homes. This role requires exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of high-quality craftsmanship, and the ability to manage multiple trades while ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight and Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations of luxury custom home construction projects, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and cost control.
• Coordinate and oversee all subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Maintain strict adherence to design, quality, and budget expectations.

Quality Control and Craftsmanship

• Ensure all work meets or exceeds high-end construction standards and client expectations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain superior craftsmanship and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Address and resolve any construction issues or discrepancies promptly.

Scheduling and Budgeting

• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Monitor and track project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Approve invoices, manage change orders, and communicate cost updates to clients and stakeholders.

Client and Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for homeowners, architects, designers, and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any necessary adjustments.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and foster strong client relationships.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure job sites comply with OSHA regulations and local building codes.
• Conduct safety meetings and inspections to minimize workplace hazards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in construction management, with a focus on high-end, custom residential projects.
• Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and blueprint reading.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Certifications: OSHA 30, PMP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
