Job Description

About PICKLETILE™:

PICKLETILE™ is redefining the sports court industry—not only with our revolutionary PICKLEGLASS™ soundproof fencing system, but also by delivering a best-in-class customer experience throughout the entire construction process.

Our mission is simple: to build more high-quality, cutting-edge pickleball and tennis courts than anyone else, with a superior product and unmatched delivery experience. Backed by the biggest players in the pickleball space (as featured in Forbes), we are uniquely positioned at the intersection of sports, construction, and innovative design.

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager located (or willing to relocate) in Austin, TX to join our growing team and lead the charge on new court builds across the country. This role will own the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through PICKLEGLASS™ installation.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project specifications and construction drawings to gain a detailed understanding of each project.
  • Ability to successfully manage and track multiple construction projects from start to finish
  • Manage project schedules and coordinate with General Contractors, Sales, Engineering, Production/Operations, Finance, Installers, and other departments as required.
  • Maintain up to date project records (GANNT chart)
  • Communicate and coordinate project updates with contractors and customers. Strong customer facing communication is a must.
  • Review contracts for scope and overall accuracy. Generate and track Change Orders.
  • Master and implement processes to effectively oversee and manage the construction process without requiring a constant on-site presence.
  • Perform site visits and travel when required, and obtain detailed field measurements to confirm designs, ensure accuracy, and minimize downstream issues.

Skills:

  • Excellent technical/construction, written, verbal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with construction equipment/procedures and overall technical aptitude.
  • Outstanding organizational/prioritization skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Strong communication skills–expected to manage both contractors and customers expectations.
  • Basic Project Management skills, including managing Contracts, Change Orders and Schedules.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or similar field.
  • 4+ years of Project Management, Construction and/or Engineering experience, preferably in a Sports or Construction environment.

Compensation Range:

$80-90k
