Job Description

Our client, an award-winning manufacturer serving the U.S. military and global defense sector, is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join their team onsite at their Bristol, PA manufacturing facility.

In this role, you’ll own the review, redlining, and negotiation of commercial and international contracts, working with terms and conditions, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, PIAs, and other business arrangements. You’ll collaborate directly with customers, prime contractors, and international partners to ensure timely, favorable, and compliant outcomes—supporting the full contract lifecycle from quoting and risk assessment through execution, compliance, and post-delivery follow-up.

This is a high-accountability role supporting a fast-paced, build-to-order manufacturing environment. It’s a strong fit for someone with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working within a manufacturing company; confident reviewing and redlining commercial and international contracts, identifying risk, and ensuring alignment with company policies.

If you’ve worked with manufactured products that are quoted, delivered, and invoiced to commercial and international customers, and know how to navigate contract terms like liability, indemnity, and payment structures, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, redline, and negotiate commercial and international contract terms to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather documentation, drive approvals, and support timely contract execution
  • Work directly with commercial customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and international partners on contracts—including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, PIAs, and other commercial agreements
  • Maintain and track contract files, amendments, change orders, and licensing deadlines (e.g., ATF, DDTC, DOT, SAM)
  • Support risk assessment and negotiation strategies for new business opportunities
  • Assist with compliance and export documentation, as well as government or customer-owned property tracking
  • Monitor invoicing, payment terms, and receivables in collaboration with AR and operations teams
  • Prepare and submit customer quotations, supporting pricing and production alignment
  • Participate in internal and external audits and continuous improvement of contract workflows
  • Serve as a point of contact for international partners and prime contractors throughout the contract lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience reviewing and redlining commercial and international contracts in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong grasp of contract terms such as indemnification, limitation of liability, warranty, payment terms, and termination clauses
  • Experience working directly with commercial contracts including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, PIAs, and other commercial agreements.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Familiarity with export controls, licensing requirements, and international customer coordination
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a high-paced setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with contract management tools a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance required

Location: Bristol, PA

Onsite Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary Range: $100K+ depending on experience

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, paid holidays, sick time, short- and long-term disability, tuition reimbursement
