Job Responsibilities:

  • Federal, State and Local Income/Franchise Tax Compliance - Prepare the domestic annual current and deferred tax provision workpapers for the financial audit as assigned. Prepare calculations and associated Federal forms according to international subsidiary U.S. tax compliance requirements. Assist with specialized projects as assigned, including Federal R&D Credit and Transfer Pricing projects. Prepare workpapers and associated federal, state, and local tax returns. Prepare domestic quarterly estimated tax computation workpapers and payments. Perform income tax research related to various compliance or planning issues.
  • Federal, State and Local License & Registration Compliance - Prepare and/or review annual federal, state, and local license and registration renewals. Research registration requirements and plan future compliance needs. Research and confirm required paperwork needed to register in new jurisdictions. Responsible for any required correspondence to and from each jurisdiction.
  • Miscellaneous - Research, prepare and assist management in other tax related projects. Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Personal Property Tax Compliance - Prepare personal property tax returns and associated workpapers for the Company and its subsidiaries as assigned. Prepare required correspondence to and from taxing jurisdictions and ensure property taxes are invoiced to Crown Credit Company customers in accordance with their lease agreements. Gather requested return details for property tax audits as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Minimum: Associate degree (Accounting) Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (Accounting)
  • Onsite
  • 40 hours / week, Monday through Friday
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel and data base software in order to perform computation, data mining and manipulation.
  • Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
  • Good attention to detail and interpersonal skills both written and verbal. Able to work in team setting.
