ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Data Analyst in Insight Global’s Professional Services division you will analyze data, interpret it and make recommendations to business owners across the division. You will work with all roles in our Professional Services division to understand business challenges and put in place data systems, processes and analysis techniques and tools to provide insight to enable business owners to make informed decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Maintain and monitor data sources and systems by addressing errors and monitoring performance
• Interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to and impact the business
• Prepare reports to assess business performance
• Collaborate with business owners to gather data and reporting requirements
• Collect, organize and interpret various types of data as well as present this data in a way that is easy to understand
• Creating reports for internal teams, external clients and/or stakeholders
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
• Structuring large data sets to find usable information
• Identify patterns and trends in data sets
• Define new data collection and analysis processes
• Create and implement metadata standards

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Basic understanding of SQL with the ability to write queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across multiple tables
• Familiarity with joins, filters, aggregations, and simple window function
• Proficient in pivot tables, advanced formulas (XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS, etc.), and data cleansing
• Experience using Power Query for transforming and loading data
• Experience with Power BI for building visualizations and interactive dashboards
• Familiarity with Power BI Dataflows, Power Query, and data modeling
• Experience in data modeling, dashboard creation, DAX query creation
• Experience with Airtable database design, automation, integrations and formulas
• Proactive approach to problem solving and an ability to resolve issues
• Ability to understand how data can help solve complex business problems
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
• Experience with data visualization tools to understand and communicate insights
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree
