Job Description

Role :: Data Architect

Location :: Omaha,NE(Onsite)

Type :: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture solutions across the organization.

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data platform initiatives.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into robust architecture solutions.

• Lead the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance.

• Define and enforce standards for data management, metadata, data lineage, and data cataloging.

• Support data migration efforts, particularly in cloud-native environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Evaluate and recommend data management tools, frameworks, and platforms.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).

• Troubleshoot data-related issues and lead performance tuning and optimization efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.

• Expertise in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).

• Proficient in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio, dbt).

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, Fivetran).

• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management (MDM).

• Experience with modern data lake and data warehouse architectures.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
