Salary: $150k – $220k • 0.2% – 0.3%

Hybrid - San Mateo (2/3 days)

About the Company:

Morpheus are partnered with a Seed Funded startup who are building an advanced AI-driven platform that helps brands run performance-driven ad campaigns on streaming TV. Our technology connects creative content, smart targeting, and digital measurement to improve key performance indicators like website visits and purchases while enhancing other digital marketing channels.

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning and a passion for optimizing real-time bidding strategies. In this role, you will design and develop algorithms to improve bidding efficiency and maximize ROI. This is a unique opportunity to work on a greenfield project and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning models for real-time bidding optimization.
• Apply reinforcement learning techniques to enhance bidding strategies.
• Utilize multi-armed bandit algorithms to improve bid allocation.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and refine algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into the platform.
• Stay up to date with advancements in machine learning and ad tech.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with expertise in machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits, and bid optimization.
• Familiarity with real-time bidding systems and digital advertising metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, AI) preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms for model deployment (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
• Background in ad tech or experience with demand-side platforms.
