Be a Leader in Elevating Experiences at Fitler Club

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Banquets to oversee all operational aspects of our event spaces and private dining rooms. This is a rare opportunity to lead a talented team and craft unforgettable moments for our members and guests—whether during an intimate dinner or a signature club-wide event.

What You’ll Do

Create Exceptional Member & Guest Experiences

• Lead your team to deliver seamless, high-quality service during all events and private functions
• Collaborate with Culinary, Catering Sales, and Programming teams to develop unique food & beverage experiences
• Take ownership of guest feedback and turn challenges into opportunities for excellence

Build and Empower a High-Performing Team

• Recruit, train, and retain top-tier talent across management and hourly roles
• Provide consistent coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and energized workplace culture

Drive Operational & Financial Success

• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and daily execution of all banquet operations
• Monitor labor, food, and beverage costs while driving profitability
• Lead planning and execution of all BEO meetings and departmental strategy
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance

Champion Communication and Culture

• Ensure interdepartmental collaboration and communication
• Support staff through clear policies, regular updates, and appreciation efforts
• Lead recruiting and hiring efforts in partnership with executive leadership

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of leadership experience in food & beverage or events operations
• A hands-on leader with a guest-first mindset and an eye for detail
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift/carry banquet equipment when needed
• A collaborative, adaptable approach with a passion for hospitality
