Our Dishwashers are the backbone of our kitchen operation and support our cooks and service staff in performing cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation standards. They must work well within a team, thrive in a busy environment, while constantly striving to make every guest feel at home.
Responsibilities - Team Member responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Expertise in using and maintaining all dish station equipment
- Load, run and unload dish machine
- Keep the dish machine & sinks clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
- Monitor dish machine & sink water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- Wash and store all kitchenware, baskets and crates. Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies. Properly label, replenish and store chemicals
- Use the proper chemicals for each job while maintain safety for yourself and those around you
- Keep dish room & storage clean and organized
- Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and embody an environment of teamwork
- Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude
- Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers
- Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses

Work Context - Working with hot foods and beverages
- Walking and standing for long periods of time
- Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment
- The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch for duration of shift (eight hours or longer)
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance
