Job Title: Electro-Mech Assembler Associate

Location: Chesapeake VA 23323

Duration: 12 Months Contract to Hire

Job Description:

• Under limited supervision, duties include but are not limited to, performing system and sub assembly level electronic component and small gauge wire builds.
• Upgrades and repairs will be performed by following assembly instructions and working to Mil standard drawings.
• Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal direction, read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists and connector pin outs of complex assemblies.
• Candidate must have mechanical assembly and electrical assembly experience of complex Navy shipboard assemblies to include various types of populated chassis, thru hole CCA’s and Component board assemblies.
• Candidate must be familiar with soldering, crimping contacts, and mechanical assembly to be considered for this opportunity.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills:

• Must be able to use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons.
• Knowledge and understanding of IPC-A-620 Wire and Cable Requirements & J-STD-001, IPC-A-610
