Your Path at Buckeye:
Our Trader Trainee program provides hands-on experience and mentorship to launch your career in trading. During your first 9 months, you’ll work in logistics, gaining a deep understanding of our business while completing our trader training program. Afterward, you’ll be placed in a department that aligns with your strengths and start building your own book of business.
What You’ll Do:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage shipments.
• Problem-solve logistics challenges and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide freight quotes and coordinate shipments.
• Research and connect with potential new business partners.
