Job Description

We are partnering with a leading construction firm to find a highly motivated and results-oriented Safety & Sustainability Leader to join their growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety and environmental programs that comply with all applicable regulations.
• Leading and supervising a team to ensure a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all company operations.
• Overseeing all project safety programs, including accident and fire prevention initiatives.
• Conducting safety inspections and identifying and correcting potential hazards.
• Maintaining accurate and complete safety documentation.
• Providing training to employees on safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborating with senior management, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance.

To be successful, you will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Occupational Safety) and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, CIH) (strongly preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of safety experience in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to continuous improvement.
