Event Manager

Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)

We're looking for a highly organized and experienced Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of our events. You'll be the central figure, ensuring seamless operations from conception through post-event analysis.

Key Responsibilities

As our Event Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• End-to-End Event Management: Develop and implement comprehensive event plans, managing all logistics from start to finish.
• Stakeholder & Speaker Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for all event inquiries, drafting execution plans, reviewing with sponsors and stakeholders, and collaborating with speakers to develop compelling content that fits timelines.
• On-Site Leadership: Act as the on-site event manager, overseeing all activities and ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
• Engagement & Feedback: Contribute to the event portal, provide timely updates, promote attendee engagement, and manage all post-conference evaluations and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Industry Expertise: Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure our events remain cutting-edge.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in conference/event planning and management, with a track record of successful event execution.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with technical staff and Project Managers.
• Certification in Meeting and Event Planning (CMP).
