Job Description

THE CLIENT

Our client is an asset manager with offices around the globe and about forty employees globally, with a small presence in the New York City area. They are a team that values humility and hard work; they truly champion their team and hope to add like-minded individuals to the office.

THE ROLE

This is an Executive Assistant/ Office Manager position to be the sole admin support for the New York office. This individual will mainly support two Managing Directors as well as provide additional ad hoc support to the growing office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Calendar management for the team
  • Complex travel coordination, both domestic and international
  • Expense reconciliation
  • Plan internal and external events
  • Manage the conference rooms and overall office maintenance
  • Act as the first point of contact in the office, greet guests, and order catering
  • Ad hoc projects as needed
  • Liaise with different teams such as IT and Legal

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with a no task too small mentality. They will have high humility, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everyone is cared for on the team

Key requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives
  • Experience in financial services, specifically in investment firms
  • Experience managing an office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written

THE COMP/BENEFITS

  • Paying up to $130k on base
  • 4 days in the office, with flexibility to go into the office when needed
