Field Specimen Processor

Our client is seeking a Field Specimen Processor to join their Bloomington, MN team on a contract basis. On site, local candidates only.

The Field Specimen Processor will be responsible for the efficient, timely, and accurate collection and shipping of patient specimens.

Responsibilities of the Field Specimen Processor

• Greeting patients
• Collecting testing and billing information
• Obtaining specimens for drug testing
• Preparing and packaging specimens for shipping
• Completing customer service duties
• Collecting payments
• Ensuring adherence to company and HIPAA compliance policies as they related to patient information, billing processes, and orders
• Complying with safety regulations

Requirements of the Field Specimen Processor

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years experience, ideally customer service and/or medical
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong customer service orientation
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills

Additional Details:

Compensation: $20.50/hr

Employment type: contact to hire

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
