Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Financial Analyst to join our client's team in Miami, Florida. Our client is scaling fast through acquisitions and greenfield expansion, backed by private equity, with revenue at $315M and a goal of hitting $1B in the next 3-4 years. This is a high-impact opportunity to build and shape the FP&A function. The financial analyst will work across departments on budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, have strong experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), possess an entrepreneurial mindset, and be eager to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Create detailed financial forecasts to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial data and insights.
- Assist in the development of financial models to support business initiatives and investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
