Two top law firms (AmLaw 15 & AmLaw 25) are seeking midlevel associates (Class 2022-2018) to join their first-class Financial Institutions Group in New York or Washington, DC.
Both roles are unpublished and we are working directly with practice group leaders to find them top-performing FIG associates. Both opportunities provide amazing pathways to career progression (i.e., partnership) than most firms.
Both are market-leading Financial Institutions Groups and counsel a broad range of financial institutions, private investors and government agencies on some of the world’s most significant and complex deals. In addition to advising on prominent mergers, the teams have worked on important and innovative capital raising transactions and regulatory matters, ranging from compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act and related regulations, to charter conversions and obtaining regulatory approvals for expanded banking powers. The teams' clients span the entirety of the financial services continuum, from global and regional banks to asset managers, insurance companies, fintech companies, and credit card and specialty finance firms, as well as boards and investors in these companies.
Key Requirements
- NY, DC, Illinois, Texas or California qualified
- Class of 2022-2018
- Solid experience in Financial Services, specifically FIG M&A and Bank Regulatory
- Prior experience at a leading US law firm highly regarded
