Linux Software Engineer – OTA Systems
Overview:
Seeking a software engineer to develop secure, scalable user-space applications on embedded Linux platforms for OTA firmware update systems in electric vehicles.
Key Skills:
Strong in C/C++ and Python (required)
Experience with Linux system tools (systemd, D-Bus, file systems)
Familiarity with OTA concepts and secure firmware delivery
Debugging with tools like gdb, strace, and journalctl
CI/CD workflow experience
Nice to Have:
Experience with OTA frameworks (Mender, RAUC, SWUpdate)
Knowledge of security/crypto for OTA pipelines
Automotive domain experience
Rust experience is a plus

Estimated Min Rate : $80.00

Estimated Max Rate : $100.00
