Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Fleet Manager to support a multi-state construction company based out of West Chester, PA. This is a full-time, on-site role with travel to job sites across GA, TN and occasional travel to OH and VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and logistics, and will be responsible for overseeing the company’s fleet of vehicles and construction equipment.

In this position, you will be expected to manage day-to-day fleet operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and optimize vehicle usage and costs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee acquisition, registration, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Implement and manage fleet tracking systems (e.g., GPS, telematics).
  • Monitor fuel usage, vehicle performance, and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and driver assignments.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers for claims and renewals.
  • Approve fleet-related expenditures and negotiate equipment purchases.
  • Collaborate with departments including logistics, safety, and finance.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and other regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise subcontractors and mechanics performing equipment repairs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet management or logistics coordination.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with vehicle and construction equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency with fleet management software (e.g., Samsara, Verizon Connect, Fleetio).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
  • Ability to travel to job sites and respond to emergencies as needed.

Nice to Have:

  • Fleet management certification (e.g., NAFA CAFM).
  • Experience managing a fleet of commercial vehicles.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred).

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with frequent time in the field or vehicle yard.
  • Occasional travel to other company locations or vendor sites.
  • Must be available for emergency calls or weekend work when necessary.
