Hands-On Leadership & Execution

• This is a doer role, not a delegator. We’re looking for someone unafraid to get into the weeds with their team, lead by example, and ensure program execution across multiple sites.

Program Management & Compliance

• Lead and oversee food safety programs aligned with GFSI/SQF standards. Act as a partner in audit preparation and execution, maintain HACCP certifications, revise flow charts, and ensure regulatory compliance (especially FDA, with occasional USDA overlap). Experience with global standards and awareness of regional differences (Europe, Australia) is preferred.

Team Oversight & Training

• Manage a team of three direct reports—SQF Practitioners at each site. You’ll also help onboard and train.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to uphold food safety through every step, from ingredient sourcing to retail. Backgrounds in CPG, ingredients, or commodity-based trading are preferred

Experience & Expertise

• Minimum of 10 years in food safety, ideally within CPG or ingredient supply chains. Retail experience is a plus.
