How you will make an impact: 

Vista Prairie at Windmill Ponds is seeking a Cook / Culinary Aide  to join our compassionate team.  As a Cook / Culinary Aide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality food and service standards for our residents. In this role, you will follow established processes in food safe practices while also providing personal care and services to our residents. You will also play an integral role in our overall dining experience by providing service to our residents, employees, and guest. Schedule: This is a Full-Time position with Day-Time hours. You will work 3 Day shift Cook Shifts and 5 day shift Culinary Aide Shifts to make it Full-Time. The Cooking hours are 8:45am-5:15pm and Culinary aide hours 9:15a- 5:15pm.The Schedule also includes every other weekend and every other Holiday.
  • Shift Differential:

  • $1 PM (2pm-10pm)
  • $3 Weekends (6am Sat-Mon 5:59am)
What you will need:  
  • High school diploma or GED  is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Cooking experience in healthcare or restaurants is preferred. 
  • ServSafe Certificate or Food Manager Certificate is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required.
