• Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 per year

Health Product Support Specialist Job Summary

As a Health Product Support Specialist, you will support agencies and agents in all aspects of health insurance including under age 65, Medicare, group, and ancillary products such as vision, dental, hospital indemnity, travel etc.

What you’ll do as a Health Product Support Specialist:

• Work with agents to provide product training
• Work with carriers on behalf of the agent for unresolved issues internally and externally
• Support the sales team as agents work through the onboarding process
• Assist and guide agents with renewal and certification processes
• Utilize and demonstrate third-party and carrier technology platforms IFC provides to agents and employers
• Attend conferences and training seminars
• Use the company Agency Management System
• Assist and train agents with group renewal processes including quoting for multiple carriers

What you need to become a Health Product Support Specialist:

• College degree or equivalent experience
• Must be licensed in Health and Life, and maintain AHIP certification
• Working knowledge of Individual, Medicare, and Small Group Health plan products, regulations, and processes
• Previous Insurance sales experience is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written
• Must possess proficient computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Window-based applications
