Health Systems Analyst, EPIC Tapestry

W2 Contract-to-Hire

Salary Range: $166,400 - $187,200 per year

Location: Martinez, CA - Hybrid Role

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, with wide latitude for independent decisions, the Health Services Systems Analyst II, is responsible for the ongoing professional support of a designated suite of clinical, business, and operational applications, including planning, implementing, and organizing activities relating to enterprise-wide health services application selection, deployment and optimization, on multiple hardware platforms, operating systems and software environments. Incumbents review, analyze, and evaluate system and/or service requests using structured techniques and methodologies. Incumbents can manage all or portions of a project from the initial fact-gathering meeting through post-implementation review.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The requirement for protecting the security and confidentiality of system data
• Health information systems application, health information exchanges, and standard healthcare message formats
• Health care, financial, and data reporting requirements
• Health care and/or health plan organization and structure
• Project management principles and practices
• Time management and organization skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Troubleshooting computer applications
• Data analysis techniques
• Methodologies used in the practice of systems analysis
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
