JOB DESCRIPTION:
A state and local client is looking for an Automotive Mechanic to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance and repair services on a fleet of vehicles such as police cars, dump trucks, and more. This role requires a CDL certification.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Trade School experience
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license
- CDL A certification
- Experience operating and testing vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
- Experience performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
