Job Description

Our client, a prestige skincare house, is hiring a temporary HR/Employee Handbook Consultant to join their team in NYC for approximately three weeks depending on performance and the needs of the business. This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office. They are seeking an experienced HR Consultant with exceptional writing skills to support a critical project focused on developing a comprehensive employee handbook and job descriptions.

Job Duties Include:

• Review two sets of existing employee handbooks and policies
• Identify key differences between policies and work closely with HR leadership to align and integrate them into a cohesive new handbook
• Draft, refine, and finalize policies to ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency
• Conduct a similar process for job descriptions—analyzing, reconciling differences, collaborating with incumbents and stakeholders, and delivering a finalized package of JDs
• Additional duties as needed and assigned

Job Qualifications Include:

• Strong background in HR policy drafting and documentation
• Excellent writing and analytical skills
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus but not required.
• Ability to collaborate with HR leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment across policies and job descriptions

Salary: $60/hr
