Job Description

Barakat + Bossa, a growing business law firm based in Coral Gables, Florida, is seeking a reliable, tech-savvy IT & Office Operations Coordinator who can manage both office technology needs and office logistics.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a hands-on, multifaceted role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT operations, office logistics, and ensuring seamless day-to-day office functioning. This role involves overseeing office equipment, coordinating IT support, managing office supplies, and providing in-office administrative assistance.

RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Set up workspaces and maintain equipment for new hires (computers, phones, logins, etc.) 
  • Provide basic tech support to staff (troubleshooting, printers, Wi-Fi, etc.) 
  • Track and maintain inventory of tech equipment and software 
  • Assist with internal AI tools 
  • Assemble and/or move office furniture 
  • Ensure office supplies and equipment are stocked and functional 
  • Coordinate IT updates, service calls, repairs and inspections with building management and/or vendors
  • Run occasional office-related errands 
  • Assist the Executive Assistants with conference room setups and other in-office events 
  • Provide front-desk coverage when needed (breaks, time off, etc.), including greeting clients, answering phones, etc.
  • Ensure a professional and organized office environment 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in IT support, office coordination, or administrative roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint 
  • Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn 
  • Organized, proactive, and professional in appearance
  • Able to lift and move furniture or other items up to 50lbs
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and external vendors
  • Customer service skills for addressing internal and external inquiries
  • Experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field is a plus
