Job Title: Infusion Therapy RN

Location: onsite in Greensboro, NC

Overview

• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.
• The purpose of the Registered Nurse Clinician is to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner.
• Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers.
• Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations.
• Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses.
• Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services.
• Accurately perform all nursing duties according to the state nurse practice act while adhering to company policies and procedures including, but not limited to:
• accessing and maintaining central lines and PIVS
• obtaining lab specimens
• collecting vital signs
• Safely administer intravenous and injectable medications as ordered by prescribing physicians
• Documenting patient care
• Responding to and accurately reporting adverse drug reactions
• Assisting with administrative duties as needed

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
• 1 year of RN nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy.
• BLS or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.

Schedule/Shift:

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.

Service Areas: Greensboro, NC and may float to other clinics as needed.

Salary Range:

$74,880.00 - $85,280.00
