Job Description/Manager notes

• Junior linux admin, more of a support role. Not really a ton of development, just someone to maintain non production instances- this person will be maintaining the linux servers supporting numerix/murex- the treasury applications
• junior, maybe fresh out of college- 2-5 years max, someone who knows linux, shell scripting, and python. If they have those skills they will train them up on the numerix servers they will be supporting. Users are mainly in Chennai, Singapore, and hq
• Mostly responding to tickets via email- ie "hey I need my instance of numerix refreshed with production" "I need a new account", etc- maybe the occasional patch or something
• Numerix/murex- not a requirement at all. Will train them up on numerix cots app running on linux servers, so just need to know how to write a shell script, maintaining servers, etc-. If they're really good at administering applications that would be next best- adding users, helping them get into the systems
• someone willing and excited to learn- want to train someone up on their systems and get them really embedded in the treasury back end
• Just general python knowledge- 6/10 ish
