Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

🍃 Design Conceptualization & Planning:

  • Collaborate with clients to create innovative residential landscape designs.
  • Develop plans using CAD, 3D modeling tools, and sketches.
  • Integrate hardscapes, plantings, lighting, and water features.

🍃 Project Coordination:

  • Prepare detailed site and planting plans.
  • Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure design implementation.

🍃 Client Communication:

  • Provide regular updates and address client concerns throughout design and installation.

🍃 Site Assessment:

  • Analyze soil, drainage, and climate to influence design.
  • Assess site conditions for potential improvements.

🍃 Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for materials and labor.

🍃 Continual Learning:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in workshops and professional development.

Qualifications:

🍃 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Design, or related field.

🍃 Experience:

  • 2+ years of landscape design experience with a portfolio.
  • Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).

🍃 Skills:

  • Strong design, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FL plant species and sustainable landscaping.

🍃 Personal Attributes:

  • Creative, client-focused, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D modeling (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino).
  • Familiarity with large-scale or urban landscape projects.
