We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Designer/Architect with a minimum five years of professional experience to join our creative team focusing on project management. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management capabilities, excel in large-scale planning and commercial projects, and demonstrate proficiency in CAD, Adobe, and graphic design. This individual should be an excellent communicator, well-organized, a problem solver with ability to portray ideas and thoughts creatively to clients. The ability to collaborate effectively as a team player is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Lead and manage landscape design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Large Scale Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive and innovative landscape designs for large-scale projects, incorporating sustainable and environmentally conscious practices.
  • Provide expertise in site analysis, space planning, and design implementation.
  • Commercial Projects:
  • Specialize in the design and implementation of commercial landscape projects, understanding the unique requirements and challenges associated with these environments.

  • Communication Skills:
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that convey design intent, solutions, and project progress.
  • Organizational Skills:
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including plans, specifications, and correspondence.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Utilize CAD software for drafting and design purposes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools for presentation materials.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Identify and resolve design and project-related challenges with creativity and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively to find innovative solutions that align with client expectations and project goals.
  • Local Jurisdictions and Code Compliance:
  • Stay current with local regulations, zoning codes, and permitting requirements.
  • Ensure that designs comply with all relevant codes and standards.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in landscape design.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
