Your Role:

As a  Lead Mitigation Technician , you will lead a team in assessing, extracting, drying, and restoring properties affected by water damage. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality service while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Conduct damage assessments and structural inspections

✔ Lead water mitigation efforts, including extraction, drying, and cleanup

✔ Communicate with customers to explain damage causes and restoration plans

✔ Train and guide technicians to ensure efficient project execution

✔ Maintain detailed documentation using industry software

✔ Ensure all safety and compliance protocols are followed

✔ Participate in on-call rotations for emergency response

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Previous mitigation/restoration experience preferred

Certifications: WRT certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain

Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various conditions

Mindset: Positive attitude, ability to thrive under pressure, and a commitment to continuous improvement

• Lead restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
• Supervise and train team members on restoration techniques and best practices.
• Conduct assessments of damaged properties to determine necessary restoration actions.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various restoration tasks.
• Implement mold remediation, fire restoration, water damage restoration, and asbestos abatement procedures as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on fire and water damage restoration.
• Strong knowledge of mold remediation practices and asbestos abatement processes.
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
