Legal Assistant – Costa Mesa, CA

The Law Offices of Daniel Kim is a top-rated Personal Injury Law Firm in California. We fight for plaintiffs in cases involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, rideshare companies (Uber/Lyft), and other motor vehicle accidents.

Our reputable firm is currently seeking for an experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant, that takes initiative and is self motivated to join our Personal Injury team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide reliable and consistent client support, acting as a liaison between the client and attorney .

Compensation:

• $20 - $26/hr. depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with medical providers, and schedule medical appointments
• Compile and review medical records
• Conduct weekly phone calls with clients, and monitor clients' medical treatments
• Communicate with insurance companies, obtain medical records, and data entry
• Maintain clients’ records by reviewing case notes, and monitoring progress
• Data entry, help prepare demand packages, assist with property damage insurance claims
• Manage open claims and send letters of representation
• Comply with HIPAA regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Personal Injury Law experience is highly preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish or Korean is required
• Ability to work in large teams and be computer savvy. Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, digital e-filing
• Excellent time management, communicational , organizational, and analytical skills
• Experienced working in a paperless environment
• Must be able to type at least 40 wpm
