Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Hybrid ( 3 days in-office/2 remote)

Salary: $85,000-$100,000

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our clients team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience handling federal and Oregon state court matters and will support a team of fast-paced litigators. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional with strong case management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex litigation cases, including calendaring deadlines, coordinating filings, and maintaining case records
  • Prepare, proofread, and finalize pleadings and other legal documents for e-filing across multiple jurisdictions
  • Monitor court deadlines, manage attorney schedules, and ensure timely filing and service of documents
  • Handle client and attorney communications, including managing incoming emails, mail, and voicemails
  • Create and maintain case notebooks and organize litigation materials
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and assist with meeting preparation
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience in both federal and Oregon state courts
  • Strong case management, calendaring, and e-filing skills
  • Excellent proofreading, editing, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with attorneys, co-counsel, and clients
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
