Job Title: Maintenance Repair Worker Supervisor
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking maintenance supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving and loading construction equipment, operating industrial forklifts, and performing manual material handling tasks in an outdoor work environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
· Perform basic inspections and maintenance of equipment as needed.
· Ability to troubleshoot equipment, estimates repair costs, and order supplies as needed.
· Operate industrial forklifts safely and efficiently.
· Perform manual material handling, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
· Climb ladders and work in physically demanding outdoor conditions for 8-hour shifts.
· Assist with general yard organization and maintenance.
· Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety protocols.
· Willingness to travel to jobsites and perform maintenance and repairs on construction equipment. Some overnight travel may be required.
· Supervisor and mentor maintenance helper.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of API above ground storage tank erection is a plus.
· Prior experience in material handling, warehouse, or yard operations preferred.
· Basic knowledge of diesel equipment maintenance and electrical equipment maintenance is a plus. Ability to perform repairs to flatbed trailers, brakes, airlines, etc....
· Experience operating industrial forklifts (certification a plus).
· Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing.
· Welding experience is required.
· OSHA safety training and forklift training are a plus.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in varying outdoor conditions.
· Must have a valid driver’s license, pass a background check and drug test.
· Trade school or technical school certificates are a plus.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in construction or industrial environments who enjoys physical work and operating equipment. A minimum of 5 years of work experience is preferred. Pay range for this position will be based on experience, with a range between $30.00 -$38.00 per hour.
