We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Lapeer, MI! This is a direct hire opportunity with a full benefits package and paid time off. 🔧 About the Maintenance Technician Role:

As a Maintenance Technician , you will provide essential maintenance support in a paint, flocking, assembly, and plastic injection molding facility to ensure the production of high-quality products with on-time delivery. You'll perform both corrective and preventive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and equipment.

🧰 Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and weekly maintenance checks on molding, flocking, and paint robots
• Coordinate with supervisors to schedule routine or emergency repairs
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment including plastic injection molding machines, robots, grinders, vacuum pumps, conveyors, and hot stamping machines
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required
• Install and maintain new machinery and systems
• Maintain facility and equipment to current OSHA standards
• Operate forklift and maintain necessary certifications
• Maintain documentation using Work Order Forms
• Support company quality systems and participate in continuous improvement
• Adhere to all IATF-16949 / ISO 14001 policies and company regulations

✅ Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a plastic injection molding environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC ladder diagrams
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (Kanban, 5S, Standard Work, etc.)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid forklift license (or ability to obtain through the company)
