The Role

In this role, you'll manage team of senior analysts that support all aspects of Signet “Real Estate” (including Real Estate, Store Planning, Design, Store Maintenance and Financial Planning & Analysis) through reporting and strategic analysis. You'll also work closely with Real Estate and Finance Leadership to develop reports and analytic/financial insights that improve performance, lower costs, and improves efficiencies in the lifecycle for all real estate projects.

The Responsibilities

• Directly manage the Reporting and Analytics team to ensure proper reporting is in place to drive business insights and improve our ability to make data-based decisions
• Establish priority and level of effort for each new report/project and communicate progress updates with Leadership through completion
• Utilize advanced analytical/financial methods and techniques to identify insights that improve real estate capital decision making
• Conduct postmortem analysis for completed projects to identify opportunities for increased performance, cost reduction, and process improvement
• Use predictive analytics to forecast impacts to the business and develop solutions to minimize or maximize impacts
• Lead a team of two Senior Analysts as they complete advanced analytical and strategic projects while providing feedback and development opportunities
• Act as subject matter expert/consultant to support the company’s Store Lifecycle Management (SLM) system: this includes, but is not limited to system testing, designing user interface changes, and evaluating the impact to the Real Estate and Store Planning DataMart

The Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• 5+ years analytics and/or finance in a retail, corporate environment
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling/analysis, database/data Management, Alteryx and Tableau experience a plus
