We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team onsite in Northbrook, IL, working directly with the CEO to lead and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role requires a hands-on, strategic, and data-driven marketer with expertise in HubSpot marketing automation, demand generation, and B2B SaaS marketing. You will own the marketing function, ensuring alignment with sales and company growth goals.

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities:

Demand Generation & Lead Conversion

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate high-quality inbound and outbound leads.
  • Optimize lead nurturing workflows and conversion strategies in HubSpot to improve MQL-to-SQL conversion rates.
  • Work closely with sales to ensure a seamless lead handoff process and pipeline acceleration.
  • Identify and implement growth marketing tactics to expand reach and increase lead volume.

HubSpot Marketing Automation & CRM Management

  • Own and manage all HubSpot marketing functions, including campaign automation, lead scoring, CRM integrations, and analytics.
  • Develop and optimize automated email sequences, retargeting campaigns, and personalized content to engage prospects at various funnel stages.
  • Monitor and improve email open rates, CTR, and conversion rates through A/B testing and data analysis.

Digital Marketing & Brand Awareness

  • Manage SEO strategies, paid search (Google Ads, LinkedIn), and organic social media to increase Bear Claw's online visibility.
  • Continuously analyze website traffic and engagement metrics to refine content strategy and user experience.
  • Drive content creation for blogs, case studies, social media, and thought leadership initiatives that position
  • Bear Claw as an industry leader.
  • Oversee paid advertising campaigns, ensuring maximum ROI on all marketing spend.

Sales & Marketing Alignment

  • Act as a liaison between marketing and sales, ensuring messaging, lead quality, and follow-up strategies align with revenue goals.
  • Work directly with the CEO to refine go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging for Bear Claw's AI-driven solutions.
  • Provide data-driven reports to leadership, demonstrating the effectiveness of marketing efforts and
  • identifying areas for improvement.

Event & Community Marketing

  • Plan and execute event marketing strategies for industry conferences such as SHRM and HR Tech.
  • Develop Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to target key enterprise clients and industry decision-makers.
  • Build relationships with partners, influencers, and HR/recruiting communities to expand Bear Claw's reach.

Data-Driven Decision-Making & Optimization

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV
  • (Lifetime Value), and ROI are optimized.
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and
  • recommendations for optimization.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and refine marketing strategies based on data insights and industry trends.

What Bear Claw Needs from You

  • 3+ years of HubSpot experience (marketing automation, lead nurturing, CRM management, reporting).
  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, preferably in HR Tech, recruitment technology, or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in demand generation, digital marketing, and content strategy with measurable results.
  • Strong expertise in CRM platforms, SEO, paid media, and performance marketing.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills to optimize marketing efforts.
  • A hands-on, performance-driven mindset with the ability to execute strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to work directly with the CEO in a fast-paced, high-visibility role, taking ownership of the marketing function.
