We Need a Part-Time Marketing + Design + Creative + Strategist + Doer
AMBAC International is looking for a marketing/design/creative pro who can think strategically, execute, and tell a really good story. After reading this, you’ll understand why we’re looking for help.
We’re a small employee-owned, industrial manufacturing company building fuel and power systems that keep the world running. It’s not glamorous, and we’re not selling trendy anything. What we do have is a real mission: building a business where the product matters, the people matter, and where employees literally own what they do.
Now, we need someone who can tell that story visually and in words.
Who:
~ AMBAC as a Leader. Help shape and share AMBAC’s approach to manufacturing, employee ownership, open-book management, and leadership.
~ AMBAC as an Employer. Tell the story of why AMBAC is the best place to work for people that want real careers and growth, not just jobs. Recruiting done right.
~ AMBAC as a Manufacturing Partner to larger OEM customers. Made in USA, by your friends and neighbors.
~ Zillion Heavy Duty. B2B, Aftermarket trucks parts distribution. Smart, fast, lean.
We are small. This isn’t a big-budget marketing playground. You’ll have to be scrappy, resourceful, and creative - but you’ll also be telling a story that actually matters.
What:
~Content, Events, Print & Social Media. Own AMBAC’s Socials, create posts that are worth reading, manage email marketing, and web design.
~Brand & Employer Marketing. Craft job postings, employee spotlights, and recruitment materials that attract the right people.
~Writing & Design. Tell the AMBAC story through compelling words and visuals in various media.
~Supporting Leadership. Help build AMBAC’s brand in employee ownership, leadership, and manufacturing excellence.
~Execution. Own the marketing funnel. Part strategy, plus you’ll write, design, post, and engage.
You:
Strategic thinking and opinions based on data.
A Storyteller. Great design is simple stories about people.
Strong Writing & Design Skills. Execution.
B2B & Industrial Marketing Experience. Manufacturing, engineering, or similar fields preferred.
LinkedIn, Print, whatever. Technically capable (Or know who to call) You don’t need to be a web developer or video editor, but you know what great looks like and how to get it done.
Independent & Proactive. You don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do next.
The Details:
Part-time, we estimate 1 or 2 days per week + some project sprints.
Hybrid / remote job. At least occasionally, you'll want to spend time in the factory getting to know the people, the work, and the culture. Otherwise, the stories won’t be real.
