Job Title: Microsoft Technologies Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC || Chesterbrook, PA

Term: Fulltime

Infosys is seeking a Microsoft Technologies Developer who can provide support and enhance applications using MS technologies. Uses Microsoft Office and SharePoint as productivity tools to meet the clients' business needs for automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chesterbrook, PA or Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At Least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 3 years of Experience in Visual Basics Application script (VBA) development skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, InfoPath, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • At least 3 years of Experience in writing complex SQL.
  • Reviews business and system requirements to ensure project requirements are captured accurately. Works closely with the project administrator to understand the needs of the business, and comments on the quality of the requirements.
  • Provides high level estimates of time and complexity for project prioritization planning.
  • Works with the client as needed to plan, schedule and coordinate activities to deliver business solutions. May include facilitating meetings, trainings, and presentations
  • Performs thorough unit testing to ensure a quality product.
  • Provides accurate and timely updates to management. Works closely with the project team to communicate status at every project phase, utilizing written and verbal communication.
  • Provides business support for product inventory of supported applications used by business clients.

  • Documents all projects in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships clients and IT. Anticipates clients' needs and ensures clients' satisfaction related to the services being provided. Partners with management to identify opportunities to improve processes in response to business and/or regulatory developments.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face
