What We’re Looking For
As a Network Analyst at CyberPoint, you will play a critical part in identifying, analyzing and mitigating threats to enterprise systems using a variety of industry standard tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in intrusion detection and investigation, a deep understanding of network protocols and a solid grasp of security operations.

Your responsibilities as a Network Analyst will include (but not limited to):

• Conduct intrusion analysis and investigation to identify and respond to suspicious activity on enterprise networks.
• Utilize the MITRE ATT&CK framework to assess adversary behaviors and techniques.
• Perform network protocol analysis to understand and interpret traffic patterns and potential anomalies.
• Conduct forensic analysis on compromised systems or suspicious network events.
• Provide timely and effective incident response in collaboration with SOC and other cybersecurity teams.
• Leverage threat intelligence to enhance detection capabilities and inform defensive strategies.
• Work with SIGINT systems and tools to support analysis and investigation activities.
• Operate within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment and support Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 analyst functions depending on expertise.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including incident reports, analysis findings and recommendations.

This position is 100% onsite in Ft. Meade MD and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance .

Qualifications

What You’ll Need 

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field
• Five (5) years of Cybersecurity Threat Analysis experience in the following disciplines:
• Cybersecurity Techniques and Network Analysis
• Insider Threat Analysis software
• TCP/IP fundamentals
• Windows Operating Systems and supporting Office applications
• Real-world incident management and incident response

• Minimum of 1 year Splunk experience
• Experience in a SOC environment, supporting any of the Tier 1-3 analyst roles
• Familiarity with SIGINT tools and techniques
• Relevant certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, CEH or similar are a plus.
